The submarine pipeline section of the tender project for the concession of a desalination plant on the Tunisian coast is drafted. The land pipelines are constructed in GRP and the marine pipelines in PE-100. The project is divided into three pipelines:
• Intake pipeline: runs from the intake tower to the pumping station. It consists of a marine section and a land section. ID=1,200 mm, L=2,328 m and Q=1.43 m³/s
• Delivery pipeline: runs from the pumping station to the desalination plant. It is entirely on land. ID=1,000 mm, L=1,462 m, Q=1.43 m³/s
• Discharge pipeline: runs from the desalination plant to the diffuser section in the sea. It consists of a land section and a marine section. Approximately the first 1,200 m on land run in a common trench with the delivery pipeline. ID=900 mm, L=3,781 m, Q=0.80 m³/s
