Drafting of the Tender Project for the Variant, addressing the following elements:
• Adaptation of the internal geometry of the caissons. Optimisation of concrete and fill volumes.
• New gravity structural solution at the alignment change. A more solid, durable and robust solution, as well as more flexible to absorb possible differential settlements.
• Improvements to the superstructure solution: optimisation of precast elements and redesign of joints to improve performance. New cantilever beam, more stable and safer.
