Construction Project to increase the theoretical draft from 7.16 m to 9 m in the westernmost 20 m of the North Western Quay Extension, adapting to functional and environmental constraints. In the remaining 196 m of the quay, restoration of the minimum theoretical draft of 9 m in silted areas.
• Structural solution: reinforced concrete pile wall executed in situ, 1 m in diameter, spaced every 1.20 m, with the head located at the toe of each quay.
• Application of the above solution to the structural typologies of existing quays, with the following particularities:
• Block quay with additional ground improvement at the rear of the wall using high-pressure jet grouting. Rear closure on rockfill berm with low-mobility injection.
• Open quay (claraboya type) with concrete infill between piles to close the wall in dredged areas.
• Solid quay
