Detailed design for construction of the El Tarf SWRO plant’s submarine pipelines. The pipelines’ features are:

• Material: HDPE100
• Pipelines: Intake: 2×2,500 mm SDR 26 and outfall OD=2,000 mm SDR 26
• Length: 2×800 m (intake) approximately and 627 m (outfall)
• Flow rate: 8.94 m3/s (intake) and 5.12 m3/s (outfall)
• intake depth: -15.5 / -16 and discharge depth: -9.7

• Wave study
• Recirculation
• Diffuser design: Near field study
• Complete pipelines design
• Pigging system implementation
• Intake tower design
• Pipe protection study
