Project

The Project comprised the construction design of the desalination plant´s marine pipelines, including the intake structures in concrete and the diffuser section.

Main characteristics:

• Material: HDPE100
• Pipeline definitions: 2xOD=1,400 SDR 26 mm intake pipelines and 1x OD=800 mm SDR 26 outfall.
• Total length: 856 m intake (-14.6 m depth) and 555 m outfall (-8 m)
• Maximum flow rate: 2.27 m3/s intake and 1.32 m3/s outfall
• 2 concrete intake structures.
• Diffuser design with 7 risers with 2 outlets DN 200 mm spaced 5.25 m.
