Both intake and outfall pipelines are laid in trenches.

Main characteristics of the project. :

• Material: HDPE100
• Pipelines: Intake: OD= 900 mm and outfall OD= 630 mm
• Length: 3,407 m (intake) and 2,546 m (outfall)
• Flow rate: 0.44 m3/s (intake) and 0.26 m3/s (outfall)
• Intake depth: -8 m and discharge depth: -5 m

Basic studies:

• All the basic studies necessary to define the work were carried out (wave study, hydraulic and structural calculations, etc.).
• A causeway was designed for the construction of the pipes in the surf zone.
