Design of the installation using off-bottom pull (off-bottom pull) with chain support • The pipeline characteristics are: • Discharge flow rate: 11.3 m3/s • Internal diameter: 2,400 mm • Maximum depth: 60 m • Length: 3,627 m Numerous tasks are carried out in connection with defining the off-bottom pull construction process: • Current study (magnitude and direction) • Estimation of forces generated by waves and currents • Design of three types of buoys: flotation, regulation, and pull • Modelling of the pipe’s structural behaviour using 3D Structural Analysis Software • Calculation and construction layout of chains • Design of the pulling system: ropes and cables, pulleys, and their fastening • Design of a complementary restraint system with anchors and cables
