BOTTOM PULL METHOD FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE TABOADA WWTP OUTFALL PIPELINES (LIMA, PERU)

[bloque_categoria_proyecto]
Scope:
Detail engineering
Location:
LIMA, PERU

Detailed study for the marine installation of pipelines using the bottom pull method via a launch ramp. A key aspect of the project is the analysis of longitudinal stresses generated in the pipeline during the pull, following the longitudinal profile of the terrain. The launch ramp is built in duplicate to improve operational performance. The design of each ramp consists of a support slab and two embedded rails. The slab is reinforced with transverse beams that ensure the correct structural behavior of the system. The characteristics of the pipelines are: • Material: HDPE-100 • Main section diameter: 3,000 mm • Length: 3,698 m, including the 1,000 m diffuser section • Average final depth: 10.9 m
