  • Description:

    It is a new mooring jetty at the Port of Hamriyah capable of receiving 60,000 tonne ships. The new jetty must comply with the functional needs and design criteria established by TAKREER for the terminal.

    The design includes and provides for the construction of a jetty comprised of the following essential elements:

        •    Access from the shore for pipes, services and vehicles
        •    Mooring structures
        •    Breasting structures
        •    Loading platform
        •    Other auxiliary elements related to the maritime operations at the terminal.

    Plus, the following work is included:

        •    Repair and widening of the existing breakwater
        •    Reduced physical model tests to analyse the breakwater behaviour
        •    Reduced physical model tests to analyse the mooring of ships
        •    Navigation simulation
        •    Cathodic protection system in piles
