Drafting of the Tender Project, adapting the Base Solution to the contractor’s resources, changing from square-cell caissons to circular ones and from two caissons to a single caisson 51.8 m in length. The structure has the same orientation as the existing Muelle de Ribera I, spaced 88 m apart (between fenders).
The structure is defined as a breasting dolphin with a floating reinforced concrete caisson with wave-dissipating chambers, in order to reduce agitation and prevent wave reflection from directions that the breakwater cannot absorb from affecting the structure.
A complete towing study of the caisson and the superstructure is carried out, defining the mooring devices required to support the cantilever beam.
