The Basic Engineering for the tender of the works is drafted, with the aim of describing and justifying the solution adopted for the design of the piers of the International Module of the Capurro Fishing Terminal in Montevideo Bay. The designed piers, consisting of piles, longitudinal and transverse beams, and a concrete deck (including permanent formwork slabs) are as follows: • Refrigerated loading and unloading piers: –Refrigerated Pier 1, 210 m long –Refrigerated Pier 2, 90 m long • Berthing piers –MU1 Outfitting Pier, 220 m long –MU2 Repair and Berthing Pier, 90 m long –MU3 Berthing Pier, 396 m long. This pier also offers the possibility of berthing on the other side of the pier, i.e., on the outer side.
