Variant Tender Project for adapting the caissons to the contractor’s formwork and designing the works required for the construction of a Ribera Wharf with a draft of 18.00 metres and a length of approximately 246 metres.
The main characteristics of the wharf are:
• Wharf length: 246 m
• Draft: 18 m
• Five caissons (4 type A and 1 type B)
In all caissons, chambers are incorporated with a wave-reflection reduction function, achieved by demolishing the external and internal walls. The chamber width will be 6.36 m. The base of the chamber is set at level -4.50, corresponding to a depth of 4.50 metres below the +0.00 level.
On top of the chambers, slabs are placed to construct the superstructure.
