MARINE CIVIL WORKS FOR REPSOL’S CRUDE OIL UNLOADING JETTY AT THE OUTER PORT OF LANGOSTEIRA

New crude oil unloading jetty at the Outer Port of Punta Langosteira for 200,000 DWT vessels. The jetty’s marine works consist of a set of caissons with depths of 24.50 m and 29.00 m, forming the berthing platform, berthing dolphins, mooring dolphins, the access bridge piers, and the substation platform and access road. The guaranteed berthing depth is 21.0 m. The following works were carried out:
. Geotechnical stability analysis of the access road sections, the substation platform, the access bridge piers, the berthing platform, the berthing dolphins, and the mooring dolphins.
. Structural analysis of all caissons.
. Hydraulic stability analysis of the rock armour layers.
. Design of the superstructure for all elements (structural and stability calculations).
