Safety assessment of the Ribera II loading jetty “as built”, under the new equipment:
. Geotechnical failure modes: stability calculations (sliding, overturning, settlement and global stability).
. Structural failure modes: deck, piles and bearings.
. SAP2000 modelling of the deck.
. Detailed study of the grade line between the precast beams and the slab
. Study of the optimal equipment configuration with regard to the SLS.
. Verification under new loads. Different hypotheses.
. Proposal of actions and improvements to increase safety up to the levels required by regulations, when the results with the new loads on the existing structure are not satisfactory.
