[bloque_categoria_proyecto]
Scope:
Construction Project
Location:
ALMERÍA, SPAIN

The Construction Project for the stormwater overflow system in the city of Almería is carried out by means of a collector parallel to the beach, and different perpendicular collectors, which gather flows from different drainage channels to the outlet chamber of a submarine outfall.
The characteristics of the submarine outfall are:
• Material: PE100.
• Internal diameter: 3,000 mm
• Polyethylene length: 372 m
• Flow rate: 8.6 m³/s
• Discharge: GFRP piece and flap valve DN 2,400 mm
To ensure proper execution of the works and avoid damaging the bionomics of the area, a detailed field study of the entire Almería beach is conducted, detecting Posidonia meadows, Cymodocea, etc., and designing an outfall with the least possible impact.
