The project involves the detailed engineering of the entire construction process for the discharge pipeline, including a detailed study of the anchoring, flanges, bolts, and ballasting. The pipeline characteristics are: • Material: PE100. • Pipe definition: OD=630 mm SDR 17 • Length: 709 m discharge and 510 m intake • Maximum flow rates: 3 m3/s • 75 m diffuser section with 200 mm diameter outlets • Maximum depth: 44.5 m In-depth studies have also been conducted on the following aspects: • Maritime climate: wind waves and deep waters • Anchoring process. • Complete 3D dilution study with MOHID, modeling the entire Arousa Estuary.
