Project

The Project comprised the construction design of the desalination plant´s marine pipelines, together with the intake structures and the diffuser section.

Piping characteristics:

• Material: HDPE100
• Pipeline definitions: two OD=1,400 mm intake pipelines and one OD=1,400 mm outfall.
• Total length: 2×660 m intake and 800 m outfall
• Maximum flow rate: 4 m3/s from the intake and 2.6 m3/s from the outfall
• Number and type of intake structures: 2 reinforced concrete Intake towers

Moreover, INCREA wrote the pipes quality control report.
