Construction design of the desalination plant’s submarine pipelines. The pipeline characteristics are:• Material: PE100.• Pipeline definition: 2 intake pipes and 1 outfall pipe with Øe=1,600 mm. Variable SDR: 21, 26, 30• Length: 1,034 m outfall and 2,035 and 2,043 m intake• Maximum flow rates: 2.24 m3/s (outfall)A detailed study of the following aspects has been carried out:• New Marine Climate and wave propagation study up to the pipelines.• Current study.• Initial dilution study.• Study of routing alternatives and calculation of required ballasting.• Ballast design (ballasting calculation and reinforcement design).• Anchoring design and structural calculations for the pipelines.• Calculation of loads on the intake structures.• Design of the riprap protection for the intakes and diffusers.• Design of auxiliary parts (flanges, manholes, etc.).• Beaconing design.
