Alternative Tender Project for the adaptation of the caissons to the formwork of the construction company and to carry out the design of the works necessary for the construction of a Shore quay wharf, of a water depth of 18.00 metres and a length of 246 metres.
The features of the wharf are:- Length of the wharf: 246 m
- Water depth: 18 m
- Five caissons (4 A-type and 1 B-type)
In all of the caissons certain chambers are maintained with an anti-reflection wave function, that is achieved by demolishing the external and internal walls. The width of the chamber shall be 6.36 m. The base of the chamber is located at the level of -4.50 m, which represents a depth of 4.50 metres in respect of the value of ±0.00.
Over the chambers pre-cast concrete slabs are placed in order to construct the super-structure thereon.
