  • Description:

    The work to be done consisted in the technical assistance for the execution of the bottom slab of the intake caisson using submerged concrete for the expansion of the intake structure of the Barranco Combined cycle Thermal center of Tirajana2.

    The concrete slab characteristics are as follows:

    .   Approximate volume of 2,500 m3

    .   3m thick.

    .   Concrete pouring via 9 tremie pipes which shift horizontally

    A new construction system has been designed.

    All of the additives on the market, available from the main construction material outlets, were studied so as to attain the best conditions in carrying out the work.
