As in previous years, INCREA will be present at the Pipeline Design Course, which will hold its 13th edition this coming November at the University of Salamanca, on its Ávila campus.
Eloy Pita Olalla, Managing Director, will give a presentation on Friday, November 22, as part of Topic 7: Submarine Outfalls, regarding design criteria for submarine outfalls with PE piping.
The presentation will summarize the main criteria to be considered in a submarine outfall project, whether for seawater desalination, wastewater discharge, thermal power plant cooling, etc.
It will explain the need for ballasting, whether to install the outfall in a trench, anchoring techniques, and many other criteria that contribute to a correct design.
