  • Description:

    Project for the maritime works (intake and discharge) associated with the construction of the Tuas Desalination Plant (TDP), in Singapore.

    INTAKE

        •    Flow rate: QT = 844380 m3/d = 9.77 m3/s
        •   5 polyethylene (HDPE) pipelines, solid wall,
    Of = 1400 mm, common trench:
    •Land section: 50 m, trench with sheet piling.
    •Transition and marine section: 50 m, trench in slope.
        •    5 independent intake structures, Chinese lantern type, of GRP
     

    DISCHARGE

        •    Flow rate: QV = 525038 m3/d = 6.08 m3/s
        •    1 polyethylene (HDPE) pipeline, structured wall,
    Di  = 1800mm:
    •Marine section and transition to land section: 135 m (including diffuser section), trench in slope.
        •    Diffuser section:
    •Length: 25 m
    •10 riser pipes of 275 mm of diameter
