After the previous studies about environment and maritime climate done by the Temporary Joint Venture, the dimensioning and design of the submarine pipelines of the desalination plant are carried out.
Furthermore, the diffuser section and the intake tower are designed for an optimal performance.
The features of the pipelines are:
• Material: PE100.• Inner diameter:• Intake: 1,800 mm• Waste: 1,200 mm• Length of polyethylene:• Intake: 1,779 m• Waste: 1,170 m• Flow rate:• Intake: 2.64 m3/s• Waste: 1.42 m3/s
