  • Description:

    A study was done to simulate the Lima desalination plant outfall. The wastewater is actually a mix of treatment plant and desalination plant outfall with hypersaline end outfall behaviour.
    Included was a near field study using brIHne which was combined with the MOHID model.
    The characteristics of the final model implemented are:
    •   3D to 14 layers
    •   Three nested meshes up to a resolution of 10 m.
    •   Agent modeling: wind, tide and Humboldt current.
