The project included the optimisation of all of the maritime infrastructures proposed with a study of alternatives of the possible underwater pipelines and quays.
Specifically, the following tasks were completed:
• The analysis and optimisation of the project quays and jetties to reduce their cost of execution and make them feasible from an economic perspective.• The analysis and study of alternatives for the refinery intake and outfall pipelines to bring down the costs without reducing the functionality or quality.• A study of the alternatives for the project quays, unifying them into a single infrastructure for a dual purpose:• To be used as a temporary dry loading quay during construction.• To be used as a liquid loading quay during the service phase.
