  • Description:
    A study to analyse the feasibility of installing a gas pipeline using post-trenching techniques.  
    The pipe is 20” (508 mm) carbon steel with a thickness of 10.3 mm
    Specifically, the following tasks were completed:
          .    An analysis of the existing geotechnical aspects
          .    An analysis of existing tsunami studies, analysing their impact on the design
          .    The calculation of the concrete cover to ensure the stability of the ensemble in the event of liquefaction
          .    A description of the sinking system
          .    A description of the most appropriate post-trenching system.
          .    A study of subcontractor companies to analyse the feasibility of the system and the possibility of execution in the area.
