- Description:
The tender project was written for the cooling water supply for Mandiodo (Indonesia) power plant. The cooling water supply is comprised of a sea water intake, a pump house and a discharge channel to the sea.
The characteristics of the submarine pipeline are as follows:
• Material: PE100• Inside diameter: 2,400 mm• Flow rate: 8,33 m3/s• Total length: 1.200 m• GRP intake structureThe pump house has the following parts:
• Calm bay• 3 filter channels, including:• 2x3 set of guides & 2x1 stop logs (at the entrance and the exit)• 3 bar screens with traversing trash rake & 3 dual flow band screens• Compartmentable common bay, prior to the pump area, with:• 4 set of guides y 2 stop logs .• Pump bay, including:• 7 pumps (Qd = 1,60 m3/s) & 7 check valves, one per pump• 7 set of guides y 1 stop logs• On the upper pump house slab ? 1 gantry crane (5t)Also the main technical specifications were defined for the equipment, as well as the proposed construction method
