Botafoc Pier Gangways Enter Service
The Balearic Islands Port Authority (APB) put into service last Friday, November 8, 2013, the boarding gangways of the Botafoc piers, with the aim of providing the port of Eivissa with higher quality service, security, and comfort for shipping companies and passengers.
These gangways were considered in the design of the Ibiza Port Expansion Piers in Botafoc, whose engineering was carried out by INCREA.
The transmitted loads were very high, which conditioned the sizing of the infrastructure, both in its initial and optimization phases.
The Ibiza Port expansion infrastructures have entered service with great success
