The Balearic Islands Port Authority (APB) awards INCREA the Technical Assistance contract for drafting the construction project “Extension of the first berthing line for large vessels at the Commercial Quays, sheltered by Botafoc”
Given the growing demand for large cruise ships, the length of the existing pontoons sheltered by the Botafoc Breakwater is insufficient for vessels with lengths between 220 and 340 m. With the drafting of this new project, one of the two existing pontoons will be extended, providing a solution to the aforementioned berthing-length issue.
In this way, APB renews its confidence in INCREA’s staff, extending a well-established collaboration on many other projects.
