Structural design and verification of the piles and foundations that support the fixed jetties of the marina port of San Carlos de la Rapita (Tarragona).

A 2D model of finite elements is carried out for the calculation of  acting forces and deformations.

The piles shall be HEB-300 profiles and the foundations shall be constructed with reinforced concrete.

An exhaustive analysis of the layout of the reinforced concrete is carried out in order to transfer the forces from the foundations to the piles, creating a 3D model for the definition of the required reinforcement
