Preliminary Design project of the effluent pipeline from the Punta Pereira paper mill (Uruguay). Part of the Complete Project of the paper mill, comprising one of its chapters.

The characteristics of the pipeline are:

    •    OD=1,400 mm

    •    PE-80 SDR 33 Pipe

    •    Q=2m3/s

    •    Length 1,880 m

The following aspects of the conduit are studied:

    •    Design of diffuser and dumping process

    •    Design of ballast weight

    •    Installation process

    •    Construction processes

    •    Beaconing
