  • Description:

    This project involved designing the Camberene waste water treatment plant outfall.

    The pipelines characteristics:

        •    Material: PE100.
        •    Pipe definition: Øe = 900 mm SDR 21
        •    Pipe length: 1,710 m
        •    Flow rate: 0.61 m3/s.

    A detailed study was conducted to optimise the design with an emphasis on the following aspects:

        •    A marine climate study;
        •    The ballast weight design;
        •    The ideal sinking process;
        •    Protective breakwater;
        •    A corrosion study.
