The Project includes the construction design of the submarine pipelines for the desalination plant, including the intake structure and the diffuser section. The pipeline characteristics are: • Material: PE100. • Pipeline specifications: intake Øe=1200 mm SDR 26 and discharge Øe=900 mm SDR 33 • Length: 150 m discharge and 450 m intake • Maximum flow rates: intake: 1.32 m³/s and discharge: 1.93 m³/s • Diffuser composed of 4 riser pipes with double ports A detailed study has been conducted on the following aspects: • Pipeline anchoring process. • Ballasting of each pipeline • Intake structure (alternatives in GRP and Concrete) • Protection dikes for construction process. • Auxiliary components for proper operation: venting, anti-trawl devices, manholes
