- Scope: Drafting of the Construction Project (justificatory plans, specifications and calculations)
- Description:
The intake caissons of the CCPP Besos I and Besós II were redesigned and reinforced in two phases for their new use in the CCPP Besos V.
Among the tasks undertaken, we can highlight the following:
• In the first phase, hydraulic adaptation of the existing caissons to the new features.• In the second phase, structural actions:•Reconsideration of the current state•Study and calculation of the structure reinforcement in the pumps area.•Study of elements to be demolished in order to house the new equipments.•Design and calculation of diverse structures to cover existing empty spaces.•Design of the civil works for the installation of the new equipments (stop logs, raking bar and travelling band screens, etc).•Design and calculation of the drainage network.•Permanent advice on site.
