- Description:
The construction project for the Qingdao desalination plant submarine outfall is prepared. Trench aggradation, coastal dynamics and beach profile evolution studies were done for the project. The project also included consulting on possible pipe suppliers in China.
Furthermore, a study was done on the different types of navigation aids that can be used for a job of these characteristics (very shallow depths).
• Outside diameter: 1,600 mm• The first 1,489 m are in GRP• The last 1,450 m will be in PE• Normal flow rate 1.77 m3/s• Maximum flow rate 3.03 m3/s• The diffuser section features six 600 mm raisers
