  • Description:

    This detailed project studied the construction processes and auxiliary elements to sink the polyethylene section.  The first section was done with jacking.
    The outfall in the deepest area was designed in PE100 with the following features:
              • Outside diameter: 1,600 mm SDR 26
              • Length : 360 m
              • Maximum depth 40.7 m  
    Specifically, the sinking process using floaters and concrete deadman anchors was studied along with the slings to be used and the flanges and reinforcement to be implemented in the diffuser area
