    A study to analyse the feasibility of installing a gas pipeline using post-trenching techniques.

    The pipe is 20” (508 mm) carbon steel with a thickness of 10.3 mm

    Specifically, the following tasks were completed:

    ØAn analysis of the existing geotechnical aspects
    ØAn analysis of existing tsunami studies, analysing their impact on the design
    ØThe calculation of the concrete cover to ensure the stability of the ensemble in the event of liquefaction
    ØA description of the sinking system
    ØA description of the most appropriate post-trenching system.
    ØA study of subcontractor companies to analyse the feasibility of the system and the possibility of execution in the area.
